No prior experience needed – just your passion! You’ll learn through 100% hands-on sessions, practical demonstrations, group feedback, and assignments that help you capture your first professional-quality images. From exposure triangle to simple Lightroom adjustments, this course equips you with skills for everyday photography, social media portfolios, and beyond.

Week-by-Week Syllabus

Week 1: Introduction to Digital Photography – History and evolution of photography, camera components (sensor, lens, shutter), exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), basic composition rules (rule of thirds, framing)
Week 2: Camera Operation and Settings – Shooting modes (auto, manual, aperture priority), white balance and color temperature, autofocus modes and focus points, exposure compensation for better results
Week 3: Basic Lighting Techniques – Working with natural light (direction, quality, golden hour), intro to artificial lighting (on-camera flash, continuous lights), controlling light with reflectors and diffusers, simple lighting setups for portraits
Week 4: Introduction to Photo Editing – Overview of Adobe Lightroom (basic adjustments: exposure, contrast, color balance, saturation), cropping and straightening, simple retouching (spot removal), workflow for social media sharing
