Session 1: Introduction to Lighting Principles – Qualities of light (intensity, direction, color temperature, contrast), fundamental physics, how light affects mood and depth (theory + simple demos)
Session 2: Natural Light Mastery – Harnessing golden/blue hour, overcast/backlighting, weather conditions, outdoor techniques with reflectors (hands-on park shoot)
Session 3: Studio Lighting Fundamentals – Key/fill/hair light setups, ratios, 3-point lighting, continuous vs. strobes (studio practice with models)
Session 4: Light Modifiers & Equipment – Softboxes, umbrellas, beauty dishes, grids, snoots, gels; hands-on testing for different effects (group experiments)
Session 5: Portrait & Fashion Lighting – Patterns (Rembrandt, butterfly, loop, split), face shapes/skin tones, Deepa Kamboj styling tips, mood creation (live portrait shoots)
